House Approves Schauer Amendment to Strengthen Credit Cardholders Bill of Rights

Congressman Mark Schauer (D-MI) voted to help pass The Credit Cardholders Bill of Rights (H.R. 627), a bipartisan bill aimed at curbing unfair and deceptive credit card lending practices. The legislation included an amendment introduced by Rep. Schauer that will help consumers make good choices when choosing a credit card by requiring card companies to post their agreements online.
